Happy Birthday...

Happy Jack. Jack turned two today. This milestone went by very quietly. I was hoping to get some cards out or at least an email, but alas, too busy with the other job at the moment. *sigh*...

On that note, though, I think I did become the official webmaster at the district today. Getting the webmaster email sent to me and the link to the new website is on the old website. We'll run both concurrently for a couple weeks then put the new one up for good. Got lots of very nice compliments on it today from some people I wouldn't expect to get them from. That meant a lot.

It has been a long week and I am pooped. I'm going to bed and curling up with a good book. Reading Eragon at the moment. I need to start keeping track of all the books I read. I read at least a half hour or more a night. Mostly kids books, as research for Happy Jack, but man, there are some good kid books out there! The Peter and the Starcatchers and Peter and the Shadow Theives books are outstanding. Right up there with Harry Potter in my book. Check them out.
