Well I did miss March...

But after all, it was just March. In like a lamb out like a lion, or whatever that saying is. I remember learning it in 3rd or 4th grade and never really quite understanding it. Anywho, April has certainly been interesting so far. Job number 2 has cut back on their hours considerably so for 5 months I did nothing but rant and complain about working 35 hours on top of my regular 40 hour job, then I had three weeks of perfect scheduling, and now I am scheduled about 4 hours a week. 4 hours?! What is up with that?! That is the point (other than 10% off groceries)?! Oh well. I am thoroughly enjoying the time off from there. Plenty of other things to do, believe me.

Job #1 is also in limbo at the moment. My boss resigned and was escorted out yesterday which kinda leaves my job in a little bit of peril since I was technically his secretary. I know, a secretary? How did that happen? I'm not entirely sure. I swear I never heard the word secretary mentioned when they interviewed me, and he insisted that he didn't need a secretary, but in reality that is what my title is. I've found that I really hate being responsible for another person. Just give me my work to do and let me do it. Having to know where other people are and what they are doing really isn't my forte. I couldn't care less. So, now the great land-grab is occuring with me in the middle of it. The "Office" people want me over there to do "office" things. Some of the "tech" people want me in "techland" since I am more suited to that. But I don't think the person who does what I should be doing really wants me in "techland" since I think I am a threat. And this person has been there way longer than me. So what's a displaced person to do?

Also, the very same day my boss was escorted out I was rear-ended in a chain-reaction accident. Luckily I was the person stopped and minding my own business in traffic when two cars back a guy with cell phone receiver in his ear driving a big black SUV rammed into a Toyota Corolla which in turn then ran into me. Everyone was fine, no injuries, although the Corolla was totaled. My car has extensive damage to the bumper and taillights and possible damage to the rear hatch.

And last but not least, Happy Birthday to my sis...affectionately known as Auntie Nett!
